Happy Friday Bloggers : )

Today's post is going to be about a recent contest I entered at Altered Project Inc. you can find their blog and contest entries (including mine) here...

http://alterdprojectinc.blogspot.com/2011/07/july-challenge-submissions.html

I wanted to post my entries on my blog since Altered Project Inc. wasn't able to show all of the pages in my entries due to space restrictions~which I totally understand : )

First up is a 4th of July Board Book I made earlier this year. This book was a lot of fun to design and create and like most everything I make I sort of made this up as I went along : )

Next up is a 4th of July Album.....

Last up is a French Bucket I scrapped up for my hubby's b/day party. His b/day is July 3rd so I thought I would use up some of the buckets I had leftover from our wedding for decorations.

Be sure to head over to Altered Project Inc. and check out the other creative entries and look around their blog...these ladies have a lot of other amazing posts with some awesome scrappy & altered projects.

Have a great day : )

Michaels+50% off coupon=Extreme Happiness : )

Happy Monday!!!

I had another successful trip to Michaels on Friday. I had a 50% off coupon they posted on their Facebook page so I thought I would head over there and see what goodies I could find. Let me tell ya I wasn't disappointed when I got there. Take a look at all the goodies I scooped up..........

I had so much fun looking around the store and finding these goodies.

You will not believe how much these items were...$1 each...told ya you wouldn't believe it ; )  I was super excited to see these on the clearance aisle.

L O V E these fabric flowers...I still can't believe these were only $1 each...I should have bought the remaining two packs of the larger flowers...ugh.

These are actually hair clips...I was going to take a picture of the backside but forgot to. The clips will be easy to remove since they are just hot glued to the back. These will be fun to put on the cover of a board book or frame.

These are great felt page accents that I can't wait to use...I already have a project in mind for a few of them : )

Ok...the next few pictures are very exciting for me since I am a DIE HARD Tim Holtz junkie....

I haven't used the Grunge paper yet so I am really excited to do some scrappy projects with this stuff.
This is what I bought with my 50% off coupon...I wanted the birdcage die but they were out...but I have already been playing with this die and I love it too.

Love these texture shades too...so many scrappy possibilites that it blows the mind...lol.

Let me tell ya...this blending tool has made a world of difference when I am working on projects. I used this when I was making the baby album I posted about here and it was soooo much easier to distress and ink the pages...loved it.
This will be used with these........

Can't wait to use these Fragments...which of course I will post about later : )

Some more Distress Inks to add to my collection...love them.

These embossing folders were marked down 40% so of course I had to grab these too : ) These work not only in my Cuttlebug also in my Tim Holtz Vagabond machine.

Be sure to come back and check out the scrappy projects I will be making with these new goodies : )

Ciao for now

Baby Jaida's Album

I have been a bad blogger lately...but I have a very good excuse. I have been working on a custom baby album for a good friend of mine whose daughter is having her first baby in a few months. Here's your shout out Mindy : )

The baby shower was yesterday so I can finally post some pics of the album that has kept me busy for the past few days. This was a 20 page album and I'll be  posting pics of each page and a pic of them together since I made two layouts that coordinate with each other.

This first page is probably my favorite out of all the ones I designed. I first came up with this design when I was working on my wedding album. I used this same look for a picture of my daughter and I which I will post about later.

I just love how this page turned out : )

This is Kreisha...the beautiful momma-to-be getting her first glimpse at baby Jaida's album.

Kriesha & I and you can see little baby Jaida under the album ; )

I have to tell you that I just LOVED making this album for Kreisha and I just know she will have a lot of fun putting all the pictures of her baby girl in this album once she makes her debut.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog today...it is another beautiful sunny day here in Oregon and we are heading to Costco soon (yay) so I will try to do another post this evening when we get back. I have some more amazing scrapbook deals to show you : )

Ciao for now!
