This weekend we are celebrating Ashley's 21st Birthday with some fun and creative, birthday/alcohol-themed projects! It's not 21 without a drink or two, right?!

I remember my 21st birthday (just a few short years ago...honest lol). I celebrated with a girlfriend of mine and we went on a Caribbean cruise. I'd always wanted to visit Jamaica and so I did just that. It was an amazing vacation and I will always remember it. 

I was so happy when Ashley asked me to be a part of her Birthday Hop!! She is a such a sweetheart and I first met her when I joined her Design Team, Made Especially For You, a few years back. She is very creative & talented and I'm so glad I met her!!!

I made Ashley a Tri-Fold Tag Birthday Card. I wanted to make it with some of her favorite colors (I mean it's her birthday after all right??) I have a short video that shows you the project up close so be sure to watch for that after the first few photos :)

So my challenge is an all occasion using only black & white as your colors & the twist is to use ribbon, twine etc but you must stick with the B&W color theme. Here's my card for this challenge to give you an idea of what I'm looking for............

Feel free to use any type of sentiment you want..just make sure it's on the front of the card and that you only use B&W colors with some sort of twine, ribbon, seam binding etc.

Hey everyone...I will be at the CK Scrapbook Convention in Portland this weekend (leaving today..yay) so I won't have access to my blog to do any normal scrappy posts...so I wanted to re-post the upcoming blog hop (post is below) with Made Especially For You. I am going to try and take some video of the convention and of course tons of photos & will upload them to my blog if I can.

I will do a post on Tuesday recapping the convention so be sure to come back for that...I haven't been to this before so I am pretty excited about it.

Graphic 45 & May Arts Blog Hop Winner : )

Hello crafters & scrappers...I have some exciting news to share with you today...Graphic 45 & May Arts joined together and had a blog hop a few weeks ago and were offering up some FABULOUS prizes for two lucky people...well I was lucky enough to be one of those two people and here is what came in the mail for me the week of Christmas....

I was SO excited when I saw the winner announcement here and even more excited when I opened up the box and saw these awesome goodies : )

This is one of their new releases..Tropical Travelogue and let me tell you the papers are just gorgeous!

It's pretty rainy here in my part of Oregon so it will be so nice to work with these papers and dream about being on one of these tropical beaches featured in this paper pack. 

They also included the coordinating 1 & 2 chipboard tags which was just fab.

Now since they were doing a blog hop with May Arts...they also were awesome and included two full rolls of this yummy ribbon...I can't wait to work with these...they match perfectly with the Tropical Travelogue collection. You can find more of the fab May Arts ribbon/trims here.
