Hey everyone..welcome back for another scrappy post. Up on the blog today I will be showing you some blank card sets I made for my ScrappinAbby nook at Not Too Shabby.
I'm always trying to find new projects to design/create for my little nook at the shoppe & I thought everyone would have a use for some card sets. You never know when you need that last minute card for a birthday, party invite or just to send a quick note to let someone know you are thinking of them.
First up is my shabby pink chandy set.........
Even though I am a purple girl..I am lovin these pink cards. I used one of my Sizzix embossing folders I purchased at Scrapadabadoo this is a FAB online store owned/operated by Carol & Barrie. If you haven't stopped by their store you need to. They have amazing items & great prices on all of our fave scrappy items : )
Up next..a birthday cupcake celebration set.......
Now who doesn't love a cupcake??? I used some of the awesome papers from the DCWV Celebration Stack & some yummy twine from The Twinery.
Now for some lovely garden green "Thinking Of You" cards.........
Ok this is another fave set of mine too. I love love love how the floral paper just pops off the black cardstock!! This is also another collection from DCWV, The Botanical Stack.
And now for the last card set I'm sharing today...
Gasp...how in the world did these purple cards get in here...lol : ) I already bundled these up before I thought to take pictures. This is another embossing folder from Sizzix..love using these. They add such texture & depth to your projects.
So...that's pretty much all I have for today's post. I do have more scrappy items I'm taking to Not Too Shabby but I will save those for another day.
Now..I've been promising a post all about my new scrapbook/craft room and I will get that done this week. I didn't take all the photos off my camera so I need to wait until later tonight to do the post. I promise you it will be worth the wait : )
Thanks for stopping by and seeing what I'm up to...I do appreciate all of the kind comments & faithfulness of my followers.
Be sure to come back for another scrappy post.
Happy Craftin!!
Welcome back for another scrappy post. I hope you all had a fantastic long weekend & a great Memorial Day. My hubby's family reunion was this past weekend & we had a BLAST. I'll do a post once we get the family pics from the photographer.
Today I wanted to share with you a wood mini album I made last week. This is going to my scrappy nook at Not Too Shabby but I sorta wanna keep it for myself..lol. So be prepared for quite a few pics in this post : )
This is a wood mini album from Kaiser Craft. I purchased a few more of their wood minis & books at CK Convention earlier this year...pretty excited to create with those. These come "naked" which I really like as it allows me to be as creative with these as I want to be. I simply painted the wood white..added the paper & embellis and sanded the edges for a shabby look.
I LOVE how this mini turned out!!
I started off this post by telling you that this was headed to my ScrappinAbby nook at Not Too Shabby..well before I even finished this..one of my co-workers and friends bought this from me..haha...didn't even make it to the store..Thanks Alisha for purchasing this & for always being so supportive & encouraging to me with this crafty venture : )
Hi friends..thanks for stopping back to check out another scrappy post : ) Today I wanted to share my ScrappinAbby nook at my friend Mindy's vintage/shabby chic shop...Not Too Shabby. I stopped in last Saturday and added some more items to my nook and wanted to share with you what I've been working on lately in between work, family and DT projects.
Sorry for the glare..I took these with my phone. The store was packed and I was trying to get shots in between people walking around : )
You might recognize some of the cards from prior DT projects. I did a post on the tea stained tags the other day...I have those in my nook for sale as well. You can read about that HERE.
A cute shabby chic pink welcome banner....
I posted about this altered tray HERE
BAM!! This is one of the first things you see when first walk into Not Too Shabby...yup that's right..ScrappinAbby's in the house or should I say Shabby Shack ; )
A good friend of mine gave me this white wicker shelf...love love love it!! I've been on the hunt for something like this to use in my nook.
Mmm..more shabby/scrappy goodness!!
Thanks for stopping by and checking out another scrappy post.
Happy Scrappin!!
Happy Tuesday my creative friends!! I am excited to share with you my new space at the new location of my good friend Mindy's new shop...Not Too Shabby. I did a post about the first location HERE and HERE. Well Mindy found a FAB new space for her store & all the vendors and the grand re-opening was two weeks ago. I will be doing a post about Mindy & the store along with photos of the different shabby vendors in the next week or so. Today's post is about my little ScrappinAbby nook....
Some scrapped up vintage books & an altered clipboard...
A vintage wooden frame I picked up while junkin that I painted/sanded/distressed. I then cut a piece of DCWV's Chalkboard paper stack to fit in the frame..added some chalk & lace...voila!!
Here are some more chalkboard frames..paper flowers (that I hand cut I might add), altered canvas..mini books..cards & more!
More cards & some tea-stained paper & fabric tags I made by hand. I also have some clothespins that I embossed...they turned out great!
Some LO's in different themes...
Die cut flowers...greeting card sets...more tags & rosettes....
More LO's & a really cool shabby welcome banner I made.
I am constantly working on new projects & designs for my space so my inventory changes weekly. If you are in the Albany Oregon area...stop by Not Too Shabby on 1st Street in downtown Albany. There are a lot of FAB shabby ladies who have spaces in there...you won't be disappointed.
Thanks for letting me share my new business venture with all of you. I have been doing pretty well so far (knock on wood) and I hope it just continues to grow and grow. I love playing with paper & when I am able to sell some of my scrappy creations...I love being able to share those items with others & earn some extra scrappin money as well : )
Be sure to stop by tomorrow for another scrappy post...we have another great weekly challenge in store for you at the Perfect Sentiment. And on Thursday I will be doing a spot on the Made Especially For You challenge blog for our Thursday's Tips & Tricks feature...mine will be on resist embossing...fun fun fun!!!
Happy Scrappin!
