PSC33:A Special Man

It's Wednesday so that can only mean one thing..well besides the work week being half over (yay) it's time for another weekly challenge with The Perfect Sentiment.

This week's challenge sorta gave me a run for my money. I don't really have any male specific sentiments so I had to sorta stretch this one to meet the requirements. The challenge at hand is to create a card for a special man with the sentiment being on the front and the twist is to NOT use any patterned at all anywhere on your card. This just opens up the flood gates to creativity to come up with other ways to design your card without using a pattern or print papers.

Here's what I came up with using the items I had on hand.......

I was slightly concerned when my hubby didn't get what the card sentiment was when he first looked at it but my daughter did so I figured it was a male thing and hopefully all the ladies looking at my card would get it...lol. It reads "Happy Birthday 2 A Proper Gentleman". He didn't get that the wooden Bingo 2 was the "to" lol. Like I said this card was a stretch for me : )
I stamped "irthday" on a piece of CS and covered up the rest of the word Bingo..thought that was kinda cool.
Vintage button..LOVE!!

A little peeksie at the inside : )
Love love the deep textures & layers....

And one last look at my Proper Gentleman card.....
