Pink Chandy Card Sets & More : )

Hey everyone..welcome back for another scrappy post. Up on the blog today I will be showing you some blank card sets I made for my ScrappinAbby nook at Not Too Shabby.

I'm always trying to find new projects to design/create for my little nook at the shoppe & I thought everyone would have a use for some card sets. You never know when you need that last minute card for a birthday, party invite or just to send a quick note to let someone know you are thinking of them.

First up is my shabby pink chandy set.........

Even though I am a purple girl..I am lovin these pink cards. I used one of my Sizzix embossing folders I purchased at Scrapadabadoo this is a FAB online store owned/operated by Carol & Barrie. If you haven't stopped by their store you need to. They have amazing items & great prices on all of our fave scrappy items : )

Up next..a birthday cupcake celebration set.......

Now who doesn't love a cupcake??? I used some of the awesome papers from the DCWV Celebration Stack & some yummy twine from The Twinery.

Now for some lovely garden green "Thinking Of You" cards.........
Ok this is another fave set of mine too. I love love love how the floral paper just pops off the black cardstock!! This is also another collection from DCWV, The Botanical Stack.

And now for the last card set I'm sharing today...

Gasp...how in the world did these purple cards get in here...lol : ) I already bundled these up before I thought to take pictures. This is another embossing folder from Sizzix..love using these. They add such texture & depth to your projects.

So...that's pretty much all I have for today's post. I do have more scrappy items I'm taking to Not Too Shabby but I will save those for another day.

Now..I've been promising a post all about my new scrapbook/craft room and I will get that done this week. I didn't take all the photos off my camera so I need to wait until later tonight to do the post. I promise you it will be worth the wait : )

Thanks for stopping by and seeing what I'm up to...I do appreciate all of the kind comments & faithfulness of my followers.

Be sure to come back for another scrappy post.

Happy Craftin!!

PSC34:Anything Goes With A Sentiment

Hey everyone..I can't believe it's Wednesday already..having a 3 day weekend has made this week just fly by : )

We have a super exciting fun challenge for you this week at the Perfect Sentiment. It's an "Anything Goes with a Sentiment Challenge" and the twist is not to create a scrapbook page...but you can knock yourself out with ATC, tags, cards etc. I was really jazzed about this challenge as I love to make tags as they are quick and easy projects and fun to & they make great gifts as well.

Here is my scrappy creation for this week's challenge.....

I went to town technique wise on this baby...I did some resist-embossing (for those of you who aren't sure what that is..I did a tutorial on this technique HERE) distress inking, and blended some inks together to create a unique look.

Here's a closer look at the resist embossing & distress ink.

And one last look........

Shabby Blue Wood Mini

Welcome back for another scrappy post. I hope you all had a fantastic long weekend & a great Memorial Day. My hubby's family reunion was this past weekend & we had a BLAST. I'll do a post once we get the family pics from the photographer.

Today I wanted to share with you a wood mini album I made last week. This is going to my scrappy nook at Not Too Shabby but I sorta wanna keep it for myself..lol. So be prepared for quite a few pics in this post : )

This is a wood mini album from Kaiser Craft. I purchased a few more of their wood minis & books at CK Convention earlier this year...pretty excited to create with those. These come "naked" which I really like as it allows me to be as creative with these as I want to be. I simply painted the wood white..added the paper & embellis and sanded the edges for a shabby look.

I LOVE how this mini turned out!!

I started off this post by telling you that this was headed to my ScrappinAbby nook at Not Too Shabby..well before I even finished this..one of my co-workers and friends bought this from me..haha...didn't even make it to the store..Thanks Alisha for purchasing this & for always being so supportive & encouraging to me with this crafty venture : )

Shabby Flowers

Wow..I woke up to a soggy rainy Thursday today here in Oregon. I know it's what keeps our beautiful state green etc but I am SO ready for some sunshine : )

I don't know about you but flowers always seem to lift my spirits a bit and just bring some splashes of color & beauty into the world. So I thought I'd share some shabby flowers I made over the past few days.

I wanted to make the back side of these flowers just as pretty as the front so they could be enjoyed from all angles no matter where you put them....

These are a smaller version of the larger paper flowers I've made before..which I've posted about HERE, HERE and in a few other past posts. If you wanted to check those out you can just do a "paper flower" search on my blog : )

I used some ceramic flower pots from the Dollar Tree..painted them with some craft paint...added the flowers & some floral moss...tied some ribbon/twine & lace around the pot and voila!!!

I always enjoy working on these paper flowers..it's a nice way to break up the constant flow of cards and LO's I do all the time.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today..hope you enjoyed looking at my paper lovelies.

Tomorrow I will finally be posting pics of my new craft room...for those of you who follow me regularly know that I moved recently and I have now have a bigger creative space to "play" in & I can't wait to share it with all of you. So be sure to check back in tomorrow for the exciting reveal : )

Happy Craftin!!
