Perfect Sentiments Challenge 21: Round Robin

Wow..this is going to be a fun post today. Welcome back for another scrappy post and another weekly challenge with The Perfect Sentiment.

Sami one of our AMAZING leaders with the PSDT came up with this fantastic idea to do a round robin challenge for this week. Each of us on the DT was tasked to provide a variety of die cut images in various papers/styles etc & mail them to our assigned person. My die cuts were sent by Sarah at My Little Somethings I was really excited to see what cuts she would send me..I love Sarah's design style and knew I wouldn't be disappointed with her selection.

I chose to use 3 different dies from the HUGE variety she sent me...so many choices to choose from but here is what I came up with for this weeks challenge..
I chose to use the Sizzix Tags and Decorative Accent with Flowers & Leaves and the Spellbinders Butterflies die cuts.
For the Tag die I inked the edges with some Tim Holtz Dusty Concord distress ink..wrapped some Pink Sorbet twine from The Twinery..added a couple of Tim Holtz stapes and used some foam adhesives to make it pop from the page.
Now this part was really fun. I used some Flower Soft in Lavender for the center of the flowers. I will do a tutorial on using this really cool product a little later on..keep an eye out for that post :)
I used some Crystal Ice Stickles for the butterfly & the flowers. Wrapped some yummy wrinkled ribbon from May Arts to finish off the look of the card. I love this ribbon!!

And now for the inside...

One last look...

Now for some more inspiration from my fellow DT Members....

Made Especially For You...Stitch It!!!

*To see the Graphic 45 Design Team 2012 Audition post...click HERE

Welcome back for another weekly challenge with Made Especially For You. This week the challenge is to create a card using some form of stitching...this can be faux stitching or the real thing.

Here's my take on this weeks challenge....
I chose to create a birthday card with a masculine feel to it this time around. I have 4 brother-in-laws & one brother so it's nice to have "man" cards handy : )

I used a tag with some faux stitching...added it to Kraft tag that I tea stained & inked with some Walnut Stain Distress Ink and then added my stamped sentiment & added some trim to top it off.
The butterfly image was stamped using the same Walnut Stain DI...yes guys like butterflies too : )
Wrapped some soft checked tan ribbon around the bottom and voila!!

And one last look...

Our sponsor for this weeks challenge is The Cutting Cafe
The winner of this weeks challenge will receive 3 images of their choice...pretty cool prize huh?
