Shabby Blue Wood Mini

Welcome back for another scrappy post. I hope you all had a fantastic long weekend & a great Memorial Day. My hubby's family reunion was this past weekend & we had a BLAST. I'll do a post once we get the family pics from the photographer.

Today I wanted to share with you a wood mini album I made last week. This is going to my scrappy nook at Not Too Shabby but I sorta wanna keep it for myself..lol. So be prepared for quite a few pics in this post : )

This is a wood mini album from Kaiser Craft. I purchased a few more of their wood minis & books at CK Convention earlier this year...pretty excited to create with those. These come "naked" which I really like as it allows me to be as creative with these as I want to be. I simply painted the wood white..added the paper & embellis and sanded the edges for a shabby look.

I LOVE how this mini turned out!!

I started off this post by telling you that this was headed to my ScrappinAbby nook at Not Too Shabby..well before I even finished this..one of my co-workers and friends bought this from me..haha...didn't even make it to the store..Thanks Alisha for purchasing this & for always being so supportive & encouraging to me with this crafty venture : )

  1. Great job on this one. I love the papers you used on it. Do you Mod Podge the papers onto the wood? Do they come with the holes already in them?

  2. Hi Margaret..thanks for your kind words : )
No I used my ATG to adhere the papers to the painted wood. The papers have a felt texture to them so I didn't want to cover or mask that...part of the enjoyment of holding & looking at the mini is to feel the textures of the papers I think. The wood mini did come with the holes already in it..they're made by Kaiser Craft : )
