Sweet Friend

Hey I have a sweet project to share with you. It's a Valentines Day card I made but I didn't use card stock for this's chipboard....

I took a chipboard heart mini album I had apart and used two of the pieces to create my card. I still have enough to create a mini or to use for other projects if I want.

This was a DT project for 3GJ so you are going to see lots of yummy Crinkle Ribbon.

I wanted to use the crinkle ribbon in another way other than tying it on or wrapping it around my card so I layered it across one edge of the heart. It adds so much texture and interest. I love how this turned out.

Such a fun card and I know just the "Sweet Friend" who'll be getting this too : )

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to come back for another scrappy post!

Products used:
3 Girl Jam Crinkle Ribbon-Holly Berry, Christmas Candy, Hot Chocolate
DCWV-Be Mine Stack
Tim Holtz Distress Ink-Frayed Burlap
Chipboard Heart Mini

  1. This is so pretty. The color combination is beautiful with the black crinkle ribbon.

  2. Adorable! So clever. Your sweet friend will be blessed to receive such a wonderful gift!
