Happy Friday! Today I will be posting a super fun project that I completed last night which not only is for my daughter Kaley...but this is also my submission for the LESSology Design Team call they are currently holding. Part of the "audtion" process is to not only create a project using a recycled item..you need to do a blog post about it and also share in a paragraph as to why they should choose me to be on their design team. I will get to that in a moment but first let me show you my "upcycled" project : )
Now...imagine these scrapped & altered up to turn into this.....
Yup..that's right...I made this mini album with toilet paper rolls : ) This was a super fun project to do. The title for this mini is Maley Mo's Memories. My hubby's nickname for our daughter Kaley, is Maley Mo. She went to church camp this summer and had a lot of summer activities so I know she will have no problem filling this mini album up with tons of photos and notes.
Here are some of the supplies that I used for this project. Now on with the pics....
Just a closer pic of the front cover detail : )
Just a closer pic of the back so you can see more detail of the TP tube opening & how I put them together.
Each TP tube had a custom made tag that tucked snuggly inside the opening. These will be a perfect place for Kaley aka Maley Mo to write down memories & fun experiences.
Here you can see how the tags fit inside the TP tube.
I feel that I would be a great addition to the LESSology DT as I LOVE using recycled items and repurposing things I find around my house in my scrapbooking & craft projects. I have been doing that for years now and being on a Team with other crafty & talented ladies who do the same would be a dream for me. I love nothing more than sharing the work I do and seeing all of the amazing projects from other crafters out there in the blog world. Being on this Design Team would just be the icing on the cake for me or in a scrappers words, the embelishment that completes the page : )
Thank you for stopping by my blog today and looking at my recycled scrappy project. Keep your fingers crossed for me that I am one of the lucky ones to join LESSology.
Have a fantastic day : )
These pictures do not even do this album justice! Absolutely amazing what you created with toilet paper rolls.

Love this Amy. It's so crafty clever to turn toilet paper rolls into something so sweet and adorable. Your daughter will love this. What a great way to recycle. Love the burlap ribbon and the pretty tags.
