Hi scrappers & crafters..welcome back for another weekly challenge with the Made Especially For You Challenge Blog.
If you are joining us for the first time at the Made Especially For You weekly challenge then WELCOME : )
This weeks challenge is to create a card using 3 different types of ribbon. I have been in a Valentines creative mode for the past week so I figured why not continue on with this theme for this weeks submission.
Here is my take on the challenge....
I used Kraft card stock for the base and the beautiful papers from the DCWV Be Mine stack.
To incorporate my 3 ribbons I used 3 silver eyelets and ran some adorable ribbon from my Valentines Mix the monthly ribbon kit at Really Reasonable Ribbon.
My good friend Andrea gave me these stamps for Christmas...I love them. The letters have a vintage/Victorian feel to them which I love. I added a Tim Holtz staple & tied some Maraschino twine from The Twinery.
I fussy cut a heart from the DCWV Be Mine stack...added some Stickles and Glossy Accents to it to make it sort of pop off the card a little bit.
I added some more the lovey Maraschino twine to the bottom of the card. I also used the Fiskars 4-in-1 embossing Spiral corner punch on both the Kraft card stock and the heart paper.
I carried the color scheme & papers from the front into the inside of the card. I like to make the inside look just as nice as the outside..no plain white paper on the inside for me : )
There's some more of the yummy Maraschino twine wrapped around a piece of white Bazzil card stock. I just love how this card turned out. The paper from the DCWV Be Mine stack has so many wonderful designs in it that I will just have to make some more Valentines projects : )
Our sponsor for this weeks challenge is Pattie at Pattie's Creations
Pattie is offering the winner of this weeks challenge three digital images of their choice...how cool is that? Be sure to stop by her Etsy store and tell her the Made Especially For You DT sent you : )
