It was a hard balance I had to learn to find time to keep my blog up to date, craft, post new projects, work on personal & custom orders/projects AND keep up with my home life, two teenage kids, my hubby and oh yeah...my full time job..lol. But I think I've learned a lot along the way and I have met some amazing, super talented, supportive & creative on-line friends that I would have never come across had I not taken the leap into the blogging world.

I know others out there have some pretty major events scheduled and lined up for their blog anniversaries and I had some great ideas in line for my own but life gets in the way sometimes and my kids and hubby come first and foremost before crafting. My blog anniversary just happened to fall on a pretty hectic time in our lives...end of the school year, my son getting his first job and my anniversary landing on Fathers' Day this year...lol. So I'm not really apologizing for not having this super duper amazing blog post for today...but I will say my 2nd Year anniversary will be an amazing one : )
As I mentioned earlier...I created this blog to share my love of papercrafting with others and to also share my projects and ideas with others. I have truly become addicted to the online crafting world and it has opened up some amazing crafting opportunities for me. This wouldn't be a proper post if I didn't give a shout out to my awesome scrappin sistas at The Perfect Sentiment
This was the 1st Design Team I tried out for and made. I've met some amazing women on this team who are all so very creative in their own way which I love. I thoroughly enjoy working with other "lovers of paper" who have their own unique and individual style, we learn from each other and I love that!! They have been an amazing support system for me in my other crafty endeavors and I would not have that had I never taken the leap of faith and created my blog.
And without sounding like I am giving an Academy Award speech...lol..I also have to say a HUGE thank you to my hubby Steve, aka Mr. ScrappinAbby ; ) he is seriously my No. 1 fan and supporter in this creative journey and I would have never created this blog without his encouragement and well let's just say it...Tech Support..lol. I am constantly bugging him for help with this and that on my blog and my online presence. Steve...you are amazing and I love you for your support and encouragement in my world of crafting.
Well since this is Father's Day I do need to get off the computer and spend some time with my family. I wish all of you a fantastic day & in honor of Father's Day...I want to share my card I created for Steve for Father's Day that you can see HERE
Thanks again for stopping by my blog and for seeing what I am up to. I do appreciate the followers I have thus far and can't wait to meet my future ones.
