Dream~Altered Journal with 3 Girl JAM!

Hi Friends! Today I have a fun 3 Girl JAM DT project to share with all of you using some of the fabulous Crinkle Ribbon & Trims from 3GJ. I've had these grey felt covered stationary items for quite some time and I thought I would alter the journal that came in this set to something I like.

Normally I have a short video to share with all of you but I sorta forgot to charge it...oops. I will however have it up on my YouTube Channel later this week so be sure to look for it.

Here are the fun 3GJ goodies I used on my altered journal....

LG Bundle-Grey Gray

Royal Bundle-Purple Passion

Holiday Trim-Silver Cording

Here are a few photos of the journal...

I created a fun flower using two different bundles and then added a few strands of the silver cording just to give it that pop.

I also made a simple bookmark with the same coordinating Crinkle Ribbon...

Creating a quick and easy project like this would make the perfect gift for anyone who loves to journal or just sketch. This is a great idea to dress up those plain Jane journals you can find at craft stores or even book stores and put your own special twist or touch on it.

I know I love how mine turned out and I can't wait to use it : )

Thanks for stopping by my blog today and for checking out another ScrappinAbby project. Like always I encourage you to pull from several of the bundles and create your own special project.

Happy Crafting!!!

Outdoorsman Ornmanet with 3 Girl JAM!

Hi Friends! Today I have a holiday project to share with all of you. Each year we have a family tradition of selecting or making an ornament for each other. So this year I again made ornaments for my hubby, daughter and son. This project is the one I made for Steve (my hubby). He is a total outdoorsman and love to hunt and fish. So I made him an antler ornament for our 2014 Family Christmas tree.

I also have a short video that shows you the project up close along with the 3GJ goodies I used...

Here are the ribbons & trims I used...
New Holiday Trim-Gold Cording
Hot & Cold Bundle-Hot Chocolate

I love how this masculine project turned out and I can't wait to show it to my hubby. The Gold Cording and Hot Chocolate go so well with the outdoors theme I was going for.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today and for checking out another ScrappinAbby project.

I want to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and Happy Crafting!!!

Baby Name Board

Hi Friends! Today I have a super cute baby shower project to share with all of you. I was asked to create a baby name board for an upcoming baby shower. What makes this so cute is the yummy Crinkle Ribbon from 3 Girl JAM .

For this project I pulled from the Celebrations Bundle and used the Sterling crinkle ribbon....

I tied some of the Sterling crinkle ribbon to a few of the letters for a soft touch (sorry I didn't know the photos were slightly crooked until I already mailed the project)

I love using the fabulous crinkle ribbons from 3GJ on all kinds of projects!

Thanks for stopping by the 3GJ blog today and for checking out another ScrappinAbby project.

Linnie Blooms DT Monthly Challenge~August:Quotes

Hi Friends! As a DT member with Linnie Blooms it's my turn to join in on this month's challenge "Create a project using a quote". Technically we're supposed to use our favorite quote but I really don't have a favorite...I have a lot that I really turn to depending on the mood or situation I'm going through. So the one I'm sharing today is more of a positive/gratitude quote.

I created an art display piece that I already have displayed in my craft room...

I also have a short video that shows you the project up close along with the products I used...

I altered a wood block using a combination of various craft paints...I wanted to match the green in the fabric I was using for the project...
While I was waiting for the block to dry, I started working on the butterfly canvas die. I am LOVING the new mixed stitch stamps Linda Barutha has designed so I wanted to incorporate them in my project...

For the rest of the project I just used some sprays and crackle paint on the wood block and fabric to give it that shabby chic feel that I love so much and then I added the other elements...
This was such a fun and easy project to create using the fabulous canvas pieces and stamps from Linnie Blooms. This would be a great gift for any occasion.

Be sure to stop by the Linnie Blooms STORE and pick up some of the fun products so you can use them on your crafting projects.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and for checking out another ScrappinAbby project.
