Happy Anniversary

Two years ago today marks the day that I married my best friend.

We had an evening wedding on July 19,2009. We were married at Green Villa Gardens in Independence, OR. The venue was just gorgeous and the weather could not have been more perfect. Having an outside wedding in Oregon is always risky...even in the middle of July so I was very happy we had nothin but blue skies : )

I went through the 3000+ photos we had from our wedding and tried to select a few that showcased our wedding day without having a post that would take you most of the day to read...lol. I won't comment on all of the pics but may on a few...so I hope you enjoy looking at some photos of one of the most amazing days of my life.

Me & my handsome son

Me with my beautiful daughter

Steve & I with our moms. Both of our dads have passed away so this was a special picture for the both of us.

This is also another special picture. My younger brother~standing in the gazebo with his arms crossed~performed our wedding ceremony. Steve's brother~the other person in this photo~said some words during the ceremony. They are both licensed ministers so it meant a lot to Steve & I to have them be a part of our special day.

Maid of honor : )

The Best Man walking his mom down the aisle....precious

Just a couple of goofballs wearin red wax lips dancin their way down the aisle
I LOVE cotton candy

Thanks for sticking with me on this long post. I just wanted to share a snippet of my wedding day with all of you. My hubby & I are going out for Thai food tonight for our anniversary dinner...there is a story behind that which I will post about another time.

Have a fantastic day and come back for some more scrappy posts!
