I came across Karen's blog last year right about this time and I was really excited when I saw she had this event going on. I knew I wanted to join in next year and here I am : )
For those of you who are new to my blog...welcome! You can tell from my blog name that I love to scrapbook and play with paper. You can read more about me & what I'm about by clicking on the "All About Me" tab at the top of my blog.I know everyone is excited to get going with the tours of our creative spaces : )
I didn't want to have this super long string of photos so I created a slideshow for you that shows you my craft room and I also shot a video which gives a little more detail on the items in my room and I also share some creative storage tips with you as well. I didn't realize I was so chatty in the video so I apologize for it being a tad long...I'm still kinda new at this whole video thing : )
I am a lover of all things vintage & shabby chic which is why I'm a follower of Karen's and why I love to peruse her blog. I reflect that style in my craft room with my furniture/decor and with the items that I choose to use in my crafting. I hope that you enjoy looking at my creative space and getting a peek into my world of paper crafting.
Here's the slideshow:
Here's the video : )
I can't wait to check out all of the other amazing creative spaces from those who are joining in on this amazing & super fun blog event.
Thanks for stopping by my blog & checking out what I'm up to and be sure to come back for another scrappy post : )
Happy Scrappin!!

I will have to watch this video again because it is a lot to take in all at once. You have a beautiful space and so many pretties to look at. I love shabby chic/vintage/french so our styles are similar. I love the desk you have from your childhood as well as the purple potters shelf your husband got for your anniversary last year. I am visual too and like to have things out where I can see them, unfortunately I don't have a whole room like you, so I can't always put everything out. I got lots of tips and ideas from you for organizing and storing my things.
ReplyDeleteThank you also for mentioning that you have been doing this for 17 years because I think we all have a tendency to compare ourselves and feel like we don't have as much, whether it is space, supplies, etc. . . and it is nice of you to remind us that you didn't collect all of this overnight either, you have been plugging away at it for years.
Thank you so much for sharing your space, for making the video and slideshow. I wish I lived closer because I know we would have a blast creating together. I am so glad to have found your blog, I have admired your work through many of the design teams you have worked with.
Have a wonderful day!
