Happy Friday Scrappers!!!
I had a nice surprise waiting for me when I came home from work today.....
Bella was also excited to tear into this box of scrappy goodies :)
Sniffin out the goods!
Look at all that Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist goodness!!!!! I ordered these misting sets and the tags from Two Peas In A Bucket just a couple of days ago and I already had them before the weekend. Great place to shop online IMO.
~Sorry for the glare~ this is their Rustic Barn paint set & I am pretty excited to crack this package open and start using it. I haven't used this particular set before so I am excited to play this weekend : )
The Glimmer Mist Garden Bouquet color kit. I started a project the other night but ran out of my Honey Dew Mist so I was pretty excited to get this order so quickly. The HDM isn't in this pack but the Meadow Green mist will go perfectly with what I have started. I won't be able to post this project for awhile though as it's a submission for the Tattered Angels DT Call that's open right now but I will as soon as I am able to....trust me...it's a good one : )
Here are some GORGEOUS resist tags that I can't wait to use on some projects. Trust me, these photos don't do these tags justice. They are made from a nice heavy cardstock and have gold embossing as well as transparent embossing on them.
I was trying to get a good shot of the transparent embossing on some of these tags...just gorgeous. I was really surprised to see how many you get in a package...very happy with these and will buy more in the future for sure.
Ok...you know this stuff is good when your furry child is anxious to see what's in the package..lol.
See...something for everyone. Glimmer Mist for me & a chew toy for Bella (don't worry...I only let her nip at it a few times then threw it away).
I am really excited to get back in my scrapbook room and start using my new scrappy goodies from Tattered Angels. I have a migraine today so this is about as crafty as I am going to be for today. The plan is to rest up tonight and hit the scrapbook room early tomorrow.
Have a fantastic Friday evening and be sure to come back tomorrow for another scrappy post : )

Perfect Sentiments Challenge 04: Seasons Greetings With A Sketch
Hello there fellow scrappers & paper crafters. It's time again for another awesome challenge from The Perfect Sentiment Challenge Blog.
The final challenge for October is to create a Seasons Greetings card by following this sketch...
Here is my take on this weeks challenge....
This was a really fun card to design & create. I have to be honest and tell you that I don't typically create from sketches but this was a great one for me to "jump in and get my feet wet" in the sketch world : )
I used some really sweet holiday wire edged holiday ribbon and attached 3 jingle bells to the bow. Now these jingles bells came from my mom in a box of Christmas stuff that she had years before I was even born...so they are vintage and I am really glad I was able to use something she gave me in a scrappy project : )
Some Noel chipboard letters on a distressed strip of holiday patterned paper.
I used a variety of stickers/tags/bling & embellis that I had in my stash. I used the brown ribbon to mimic hearth. I really like the vintage holiday vibe from this card.
Here's a photo of the inside. I distressed the edges of the cardstock & inked them up. Added a glittered chipboard snowflake in the corner and voila!
Sort of hard to tell in this shot but I used a pop up dot to raise the snowflake off the cardstock for a more defined layered look.
We have another awesome sponsor for this weeks challenge...Patti over at Patties Creations Digitial Stamps is giving away one free digi to the lucky winner of this weeks challenge. Be sure to visit her Etsy store and tell her that the Perfect Sentiment Challenge Blog sent you : )

More Scrappy Goodies : )
Hey there fellow scrappers...today I will be doing a post on some of the scrappy goodies I bought at my recent scrapbooking retreat. I have to admit that I didn't do near the damage I normally do...lol..which my hubby was happy to hear when I came home ; )
First up are some gorgeous papers from Kaiser Craft's Bonjour line.
I absolutely love these papers...the different textures and shimmers in the papers are just so pretty...and the cool thing is that these are double sided....
I already have a mini chipboard album and a vintage frame project started with this paper line...which I will show you all on here once they are completed.

Love the Eiffel Tower paper!!! To finish this paper line is a 6x6 paper pad that is coordinated to go along with the Bonjour line....
Next up is another fabulous paper line from My Minds Eye, Meadow Lark....
Love this overlay...yes I should have probably put this on a sheet of white paper so you could actually see it a tad bit better but I was in a hurry to get these pics done so I could start using these goodies ; )
They also had a fantastic 6x6 mini paper pad to go along with this paper line...

Next up is another 12x12 page by My Minds Eye...this one is called Lost & Found. I ended up only buying one sheet of this paper...I plan to use this on a LO of my son.
See all the sparkly goodness??? Here's the backside....
Next up are a couple of baby related tags...one boy and one girl themed...
Always a good idea to have some extra super cute baby items around for those last minute cards or gift tags you may need.
A cute small overlay from the My Minds Eye Lost & Found line.
The last few items are a variety of embellis...ribbon/trim...chipboard dies & a Smash stamp.
I also picked up a few Tim Holtz dies for my Vagabond at Craft Warehouse. They had some of them marked down to $10 each when they are normally $19.99 each so I thought that was a pretty good deal too. They also had the TH Alcohol Inks on sale as well so I picked up a couple of those in a variety pack. I always enjoy seeing what other scrappers purchase when they find amazing deals or if they come across some unique items while away at a crop or at a new scrapbook store so I hope you enjoyed looking at my recent purchases.
We will be having another weekly challenge over at The Perfect Sentiments Challenge Blog on Wednesday the 26th so be sure to come back for a post on my take on this weeks challenge and for the details on how you can enter your card challenge as well.
Be sure to come back for another scrappy post : )
